What Is the RO Re-Pressurization System?
Reliable Pressure and Storage
Solve low water pressure issues in reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
The RO Re-Pressurization System is a filtered water storage and pressure system designed specifically for homes using whole-house reverse osmosis (RO) filtration.
Instead of relying on the RO system alone to supply water on demand, the system stores filtered water in an integrated storage tank and then delivers it with steady, consistent household pressure using a built-in booster pump—whenever you need it.
In simple terms: It stores filtered water first—ensuring reserve capacity—and then boosts pressure, so your home has reliable access to treated water at consistent pressure.
How does the RO Re-Pressurization System work with my water supply?
The RO Re-Pressurization System installs after your whole-house RO filtration system. As the RO system produces filtered water, it fills the Re-Pressurization tank. A float inside the tank monitors water level and signals the RO system when more filtered water is needed.
The system then uses its built-in vfd pressure pump to deliver stored, filtered water to the home at consistent pressure—independent of the RO system’s production rate.
Filtered water enters the tank at a fixed rate based on the RO system’s production capacity. The float system automatically starts and stops filling to maintain proper storage levels.
This ensures filtered water is always available in reserve and ready to be pressurized and delivered on demand—even during periods of high household use.
Because the system stores filtered water in advance, it provides a reliable reserve for both household use and RO system backwash cycles, which often require higher flow rates than the source or RO system can produce on demand.
Backwash water is supplied directly from the storage tank instead of pulling immediately from the incoming water source or forcing the RO system to keep up in real time. This prevents strain on the water source, avoids interruptions in household supply, and allows the RO system to operate at its intended production rate.
By storing and re-pressurizing filtered water, the system ensures consistent pressure, reliable supply, and smooth filtration system operation—even during backwash cycles or periods of high demand.

See How Our Systems Changed Lives
“Wow!!! The Well Manager design and function solved all my pressure problems and then some. I have two dishwashers in my kitchen and the low pressure from before tripped the breakers but no more with the Well manager system. I researched several companies that offer water pressure boost and Tom at Well Manager topped them all. Although I have a great well, my problem was pressure drop such as we couldn’t take a decent shower with the sprinkler system on, or power wash my kennels with the washing machine on, etc. I installed it myself and it was a snap!! I highly recommend Well Manager to solve all your water problems especially if you are on well water.”
