What Makes Up a ConstaBoost™ System?
ConstaBoost™ combines automatic water storage with a booster pump to provide consistent water pressure from an existing water supply. Each component works together to manage tank filling, maintain stored water, and deliver pressurized water throughout the home or building.
High-Level Float
Monitors the tank’s upper water level and signals the actuated inlet valve to close when the tank is full.
Automatic Water Inlet
Allows the storage tank to refill from the incoming water supply at a fixed rate, while an actuated valve automatically opens and closes the inlet based on the tank’s water level.
Mechanical Overflow
Provides an additional path for water to exit the tank in the event of an overfill condition.
Pressure Pump
Draws from stored water and delivers consistent pressure and flow to the home or building.
Water Storage Tank
Stores collected well water so household demand is separated from the well’s immediate production rate.

ConstaBoost™ automatically collects water from the incoming supply at a fixed rate, maintaining a stored reserve for the home or building. As water is used, the system automatically replenishes the storage tank so water is available when demand increases.
Automatic High-Level Control
A high-level float monitors the water level inside the storage tank. When the tank reaches its full level, the float signals the actuated inlet valve to close, stopping incoming water. As the water level drops, the inlet reopens and the tank begins filling again.
Together, the fixed-rate inlet and high-level float automatically maintain the stored water supply for use by the booster pump.
Optional Digital Flow Meter
Flow Rate + Total Water Volume
A digital flow meter and totalizer can be added to a ConstaBoost™ system for additional insight into incoming water collection. The meter displays the current flow rate and tracks the total volume of water that has passed through the system over time.
Optional Well Pump Protection
The Cycle Sensor can be added to a ConstaBoost™ system to monitor the operation of the existing well pump and provide additional protection against low-water conditions.
By monitoring the well pump’s electrical load, the Cycle Sensor can detect when the pump begins to run under abnormal conditions, such as when the well is no longer supplying enough water. When a low-load condition is detected, it shuts the well pump off to help protect it from running dry.
Automatic Restart
After a low-water shutdown, the Cycle Sensor can be set to wait for a designated recovery period before allowing the well pump to restart. This gives the well time to recover before water collection resumes.

Pump Options for Your Water Demand
ConstaBoost™ systems can be configured with different pressure pumps based on the required flow, pressure, electrical supply, application, and installation layout.
Bladder Tank Requirements
Installation Note: For best performance and to help prevent rapid pump cycling, install a bladder tank on the discharge side of the pump. DAB recommends sizing the bladder tank based on your pump’s normal peak flow:
- 2-gallon bladder tank – E.SYBOX Mini 3 (approximately 10 GPM)
- 4-gallon bladder tank – E.SYBOX, DTRON 2, and DIVER (approximately 20 GPM)
- 10-gallon bladder tank – E.SYBOX MAX (approximately 50 GPM)
With a Well Manager® system, the existing pressure tank can often be reinstalled after the system to serve as the bladder tank.
