Modular & Scalable Design
Easily expand storage capacity with additional tanks as needs change.
Installer-Friendly Layout
Designed for straightforward plumbing and electrical integration.
Overfill Protection (Float + Mechanical Overflow)
A high-level float signals when the tank is full, while a dedicated mechanical overflow port provides passive backup protection against overfilling.
Backwashing Support
Provides stored, pressurized water to support backwashing and regeneration cycles without drawing directly from your water source
FDA-Compliant Storage Tanks
Manufactured from virgin polyethylene resin meeting FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1 & 3.2 for safe, long-term potable water storage.
RO Re-Pressurization FAQs
What is the RO Re-Pressurization system, and how does it work?
The RO Re-Pressurization system is designed to boost water pressure in homes with reverse osmosis (RO) systems (or other filtration). It stores the filtered water in it’s storage tank and delivers consistent water pressure throughout the home with it’s VFD pump.
Who can benefit from the RO Re-Pressurization system?
This system is ideal for homeowners using reverse osmosis or water filtration systems who experience low pressure, especially during backwashing cycles or when multiple outlets are in use.
What sets the RO Re-Pressurization system apart?
The RO Re-Pressurization system offers reliable water pressure specifically tailored for filtration needs, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of RO systems while integrating seamlessly into existing setups.
How does the RO Re-Pressurization System help with low water pressure from an RO system?
Reverse osmosis systems often cause low water pressure due to the filtration process, but the RO Re-Pressurization System restores pressure by ensuring strong, steady flow from your RO-treated water. Additionally, RO systems require a large volume of water for backwashing, and the RO storage tank provides sufficient stored water to support the system’s backwash cycle, preventing pressure drops and water shortages.

Expansion Tank Recommendation
DAB recommends installing an expansion tank (2.5–5 gallons minimum, or larger if preferred) on the discharge side of every pump. This prevents short-cycling during small water draws — like flushing a toilet — helping protect the pump and extending its service life.
Using an Existing Pressure Tank:
- Well Manager® Systems: When installing a Well Manager®, the existing pressure tank is typically relocated. It can often be installed after the Well Manager® system to serve as the expansion tank.
- Well Watcher™, ConstaBoost™, and RO Systems: Because the pressure tank remains before the pump, a separate expansion tank must be installed on the pump’s outlet side.
